Sara Rose Harmon, CMP

Creative Director / President

Sara Rose Harmon, CMP, is an event designer specializing in corporate event décor and production, creating immersive, large-scale environments for mission-driven organizations and corporate events.

Practically raised in the floral industry, she began her career in her family’s bustling Dupont Circle flower shop where she developed an early mastery of how color, proportion, and detail shape experience.

Her work is defined by layered design—pairing bold, architectural statements with subtle moments of surprise to create elevated event environments that feel curated, memorable, and purposeful.

Over more than a decade at Encore Décor, Sara has overseen nearly every facet of the business, including creative direction, event production, and business development. This comprehensive perspective informs a modern, technology-driven approach to corporate event design, balancing ambitious creativity with deep production knowledge. Known for delivering ideas that continually raise the bar for annual corporate events, galas, and large-scale productions, she brings fresh perspective year after year while honoring brand equity and tradition.

For more than 25 years, Ken Rosen has been the driving force behind Encore Décor, guiding the company from its early days into one of Washington DC’s most respected event décor studios.

Ken has positioned Encore Décor as a full-scale event décor company capable of transforming spaces and executing complex visual environments at the highest level. Through a combination of strategic marketing, a clear vision, and the recruitment of seasoned event professionals, that distinction quickly took hold.

Encore Décor’s reputation was further solidified through the flawless execution of large-scale, high-profile corporate events, along with select social celebrations. Over the years, Ken’s unwavering commitment to precision and professionalism became the backbone of the company’s success captured perfectly in his long-standing mantra: “It’s all about execution.”

Today, Ken has stepped back from the day-to-day responsibilities of sales, marketing, and production, entrusting those roles to a talented leadership team. His focus has shifted to financial stewardship and long-term planning, ensuring Encore Décor is positioned for a strong and sustainable second 25 years.

Geoff leads with a focus on helping his team do their best work delivering event environments that leave a lasting, visceral impression. He collaborates closely with planners, partners, and stakeholders to bring each project together seamlessly, driven by the shared wins that come from true teamwork.

With more than a decade in the events industry and a foundation in hotel management, Geoff brings a well-rounded perspective to every project. He’s known for bridging the gap between strategy and execution, fostering clear communication and strong collaboration across teams.

Grounded in respect and inclusion, Geoff ensures everyone involved feels like a valued part of the process. His calm confidence, problem-solving mindset, and sense of humor help ease pressure and keep projects moving forward.

Colleagues know him as steady, solutions-oriented, and deeply team-focused. Geoff is someone you can rely on to get it done.
